My name is Paul Bashor Jr. and I have a passion for music. I started doing background lighting for a local band in college. They saw what I could do with my artistic talent in helping their band light up a stage and make everything feel fantastic.

PBJ Lights and Sounds is the brainchild of our founding DJ, Paul. He has a burning passion for music and dance. He got his start by doing some background lighting for a local college band. They saw real potential in his ability to light up the stage and provide tons of energy and atmosphere. This led to him teaching himself how to DJ and hitting the road with several growing artists!

Along the way, a couple asked him to DJ their wedding. He was absolutely hooked, and the rest is history! Paul loves bringing new families together on the dance floor, and playing the latest hits as well as oldies! He can teach your family how to dance and get the whole wedding moving!

Paul’s mission is to bring weddings into the 21st century, and to help make receptions as easy as making a PBJ! That pun was very much intended, by the way. We service a large area of Tennessee that includes: -Johnson City -Pigeon Forge -Gatlinburg.
